In November we spent almost three weeks in Southeast Asia, touring Vietnam and Cambodia. One week was spent on a riverboat cruising up the Mekong River from Ho Chi Minh City (former Saigon) to Phnom Penh with many stops in the countryside along the way. The countries were extremely vibrant and entrepreneurial, although some memories of the 60’s and early 70’s were revived. It is a trip we would highly recommend.
