2014 Wrap-up

2014 was a year of ups and downs — a year of passages.  _DSC9978 (3)On the up side, Matt got married to Stephanie and we did some enjoyable travelling.  John’s parents also finally moved out of their house and into assisted living.  On the down side, John’s Mom passed away in September.

You can see more details in the posts below.

There was more, including visits from Teddy, Linda and Lindy, Geri and Bob and others as well as trips to Savannah, Connecticut and Boston for Fall foliage.  A good year.

Here we are!

Welcome to John and Paula’s Blog.

We began experimenting with a new communication medium in 2010.  We often heard that our family website was hopelessly 20th Century, and not especially up-to-date at that.  The last straw was Microsoft obsoleting our web publishing software. But John didn’t feel quite ready for the visibility associated with some of the newer communication methods.  So here we are, starting our blog.

We started by documenting our recent travels and other milestones.  After that, we backloaded a few things that never made it to the old website.

Please enjoy.

2025 Update: Now, 15 years later, we are even less comfortable with the then-new social media platforms. So we have continued with this format.
